The Process Plugins™ performance and condition monitoring solutions provide immediate value to the OSIsoft infrastructure and your plant. Process Plugins™ solutions come complete with ProcessBook displays that can also be deployed to the PI WebParts™ platform. Leveraging Microsoft Excel, the data can also be used for a wide array of reports specific to the solution. We leverage OSIsoft PI Notifications to provide alerts on critical parameters and include condition based maintenance calculations for any module. OSIsoft PI Analysis Framework™ (PI AF): Process Plugins modules primarily reside within OSIsoft’s PI AF. Your plant customization exists in elements created from templates that handle most of your basic performance calculations. Using PI System Explorer, system administrators can view, modify, or enhance these elements, as desired. Units of Measure: Process Plugins modules come with a complete set of engineering units that are utilized by the power plant industry for use with the PI AF Unit of Measure (UOM) system. Process Plugins automatically performs unit conversions on demand and delivers results in either the U.S. English, or S.I. engineering unit systems.

Data Storage: All data generated by Process Plugins (outputs) are stored in the OSIsoft PI historian. The calculations are triggered by any change in any of the inputs so that the results are always real-time.
